L’Italia peggiore è il secondo album del gruppo bolognese Lo Stato Sociale pubblicato da Garrincha dischi. La band ha partecipato all’edizione 2018 del Festival di Sanremo (il principale festival musicale italiano) arrivando secondi e raggiungendo il primo posto nella classifica musicale italiana. L’album per cui ho collaborato è uscito a giugno 2014. Le illustrazioni sulla doppia copertina sono di varie illustrattrici tra cui me. Il primo singolo di quest’album è diventando il brano più venduto in Italia. Articoli su quest’album sono apparsi sul Corriere della Sera, la Repubblica XL, Wired, il Fatto Quotidiano, Rolling Stone Italia. L’argomento della copertina era l’asino e le orecchie da asino e da quel concetto sono partita per collegarmi alla prima immagine che la mia mente associa a questo concetto. La scuola. L’essere un asino. Il mio animale preferito. Ho voluto evidenziare la capacità di uscire dalle regole di quei bambini che vengono chiamati “asini” a scuola. Chi ha mai detto che seguire le regole e l’ordine sia la migliore delle strade? L’Italia sarebbe un Paese migliore se fossimo tutti un pò più asini.

“L’italia Peggiore” is the second album of the music band of Bologna “Lo Stato Sociale” published by “Garrincha disc” music label. The band took part in the 2018 edition of the Sanremo Festival (the main Italian music festival), arriving second and reaching the first place in the Italian music chart. The album for which I collaborated was released on June 2014. The illustrations on the double cover are of various illustrators including me. The first single of this album is becoming the best-selling song in Italy. Articles on this album appeared in the Corriere della Sera, the Repubblica XL, Wired, the Fatto Quotidiano, Rolling Stone Italia. The subject of the cover was the donkey and donkey ears and from that concept, I started to connect to the first image that my mind associates with this concept. The school. Being a donkey. My favourite animal. I wanted to highlight the ability to get out of the rules of those children who are called “donkeys” at school. Whoever said that following the rules and order is the best of the roads? Italy would be a better country if we were all a little more donkeys.

Le groupe a participé à l’édition 2018 du Sanremo Festival (le principal festival de musique italien), arrivant deuxième et arrivant en tête du classement musical italien. L’album pour lequel j’ai collaboré a été publié en juin 2014. Les illustrations sur la double couverture sont de divers illustrateurs en incluant moi. Le premier single de cet album devient la chanson la plus vendue en Italie. Des articles sur cet album sont apparus dans le Corriere della Sera, la Repubblica XL, Wired, le Fatto Quotidiano, Rolling Stone Italia. Le sujet de la couverture était les oreilles d’âne et l’âne et de ce concept j’ai commencé à me connecter à la première image que mon esprit associe à ce concept. Être un âne a l‘école. Mon animal préféré. Je voulais souligner la capacité de sortir des règles de ces enfants qu’on appelle les «ânes» à l’école. Qui a jamais dit que suivre les règles et l’ordre est le meilleur des routes? L’Italie serait un meilleur pays si nous étions tous un peu plus des ânes.
